J Street's first national conference will bring together dozens of
organizations and over 1,000 individuals committed to peace and
security for Israel and the Middle East on October 25-28, 2009.
Conference attendees will include policy makers and academics,
community leaders and netroots activists, and Israeli and Arab thinkers
and leaders, all focused on promoting U.S. diplomatic leadership to
achieve peace and security. There will also be a special track for
college students. The Conference will feature conversation and debate
about the impact of the region's conflicts on politics in America, as
well as provide a showcase for the wide range of exciting new work that
is being done here and in the Middle East.
