- Bernard Avishai Dot Com, written by Bernard Avishai, a widely read and respected journalist, professor, and entrepeneur.
- bitterlemons, produced by Ghassan Khatib, a Palestinian, and Yossi Alpher, an Israeli, bitterlemons presents Israeli and Palestinian viewpoints on prominent issues of concern, especially the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and peace process.
- Editor's Picks, a daily news digest from the American Task Force on Palestine.
- Jewschool, an award winning progressive Jewish blog that is a great place to read about alternative Jewish views and culture.
- Matt Yglesias' blog at the Center for American Progress. Expect great commentary on the Middle East and other issues from him.
- Middle East Bulletin, a publication of the Center for American Progress, is an excellent source of analysis on recent news and developments in the Middle East.
- Prospects for Peace, a blog by Daniel Levy. Levy is the Senior Fellow and Director of the Middle East Policy Initiative of the American Strategy Program at the New America Foundation and lead Israeli drafter of the Geneva Initiative.
- South Jerusalem, a blog by Gershom Gorenberg and Haim Watzman. Gorenberg is an expert on Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank and Gaza. Watzman is a Jerusalem-based journalist and the author of the award-winning novel "A Crack in the Earth, A Journey Up Israel's Rift Valley."
- Think Progress, the Center for American Progress Action Fund's blog, provides up-to-date analysis from a progressive perspective.
- Tikkun Olam, a progressive Jewish blog that focuses on Israeli-Palestinian peace and includes commentary on U.S. politics.
Organizations
- Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP) is a coalition of 44 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that promote people-to-people coexistence between Arabs and Jews, Israelis and Palestinians in the Middle East.
- Ameinu, a leading grassroots progressive Zionist organization in the United States and the U.S. affiliate of the World Labor Zionist Movement, is dedicated to promoting a negotiated peace between Israel, the Palestinians and the Arab states, and to social and economic justice for all in Israel and America.
- Americans for Peace Now. APN's mission is to help Israel and the Shalom Achshav movement achieve a comprehensive political settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict consistent with Israel's long-term security needs and its Jewish and democratic values. APN publishes Middle East Reports, a great weekly digest of the news from the Middle East with Americans for Peace Now's pro-peace, pro-Israel perspective.
- American Task Force on Palestine is a not-for-profit organization that advocates to the American people the national security interests of the United States in establishing a Palestinian state.
- Brit Tzedek v'Shalom works to educate and mobilize American Jews in support of a negotiated two-state resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
- Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) a coalition of 22 public policy offices of national churches and agencies - Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant - working together for peace in the Middle East.
- The Foundation for Middle East Peace (FMEP) is a non-profit organization that promotes peace between Israel and the Palestinians, via two states, that meets the fundamental needs of both peoples. FMEP offers speakers, sponsors programs, makes small grants, and publishes the Report on Israeli Settlement in the Occupied Territories containing analysis, commentary, maps, and other data on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
- Friends of the Earth Middle East (FoEME) is a unique organization that brings together Jordanian, Palestinian and Israeli environmentalists. Its primary objective is the promotion of cooperative efforts to protect our shared environmental heritage. In doing so, FoEME seeks to advance both sustainable regional development and the creation of necessary conditions for lasting peace in the region.
- The Geneva Initiative is a joint Israeli-Palestinian effort that suggests a detailed model for a peace agreement to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict- proving that peace is possible, and demonstrating that partners for peace do exist and that there is a solution to every problem.
- Ir Amim - which means "City of Nations" - is an Israeli organization that actively engages in issues impacting Israeli-Palestinian relations and the political future of the city of Jerusalem.
- Israel Policy Forum (IPF) advocates for active and sustained American diplomatic efforts, which are essential to achieving a comprehensive settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The Israel Policy Forum publishes a weekly column called IPF Focus by MJ Rosenberg and runs The Mideast Peace Pulse Blog.
- Jews Against the War is a grassroots organization of Jews who opposed the Iraq war and oppose another war in Iran.
- Meretz USA for Israeli Civil Rights and Peace is a US non-profit organization that supports a genuine peace between the State of Israel and its neighbors (including the Palestinian people) based on a negotiated land-for-peace solution.
- New Israel Fund fights for social justice and equality for all Israelis, and calls on Israel to live up to its founders' vision of a state that ensures complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants, without regard to religion, race or gender.
- One Voice seeks to amplify the voice of the overwhelming but silent majority of moderates who wish for peace and prosperity, empowering them to demand accountability from elected representatives and ensure that the peace agenda is not hijacked by forces of militant absolutism.
- People's Voice Initiative. A grassroots petition drive headed by Sari Nusseibeh (President of Al Quds University in Jerusalem) and Ami Ayalon (former chief of the Israeli Navy and General Security Chief of Shin Bet).
- Progressive Jewish Alliance educates, advocates and organizes on issues of peace, equality, diversity and justice, as a progressive voice in the Jewish community and a Jewish voice in the progressive community.
- Rabbis for Human Rights is the rabbinic voice of conscience in Israel. The organization was established with the purpose of giving voice to the Zionist ideal and the Jewish religious tradition of human rights.
- Seeds of Peace. Founded in 1993, Seeds of Peace is dedicated to empowering young leaders from regions of conflict with the leadership skills required to advance reconciliation and coexistence.
- Union of Progressive Zionists is a network of student activists organizing on campuses across North America for social justice and peace in Israel/Palestine.
